About CERP - Confédération Européenne des Relations Publiques
CERP is the umbrella organisation of national and professional PR
associations all over Europe. It was founded in 1959 by practitioners from
Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. Its initiator was the
famous Lucien Matrat, author of the Code of Athens.
Since this time the world has changed dramatically. Colleagues in many
central and eastern European countries have founded PR associations that today
belong to CERP - forming a European network of professional contacts.
Communication is our business. The task of communication is to create genuine
dialogue. CERP was founded to foster dialogue. Our challenge is to make sure it
continues.
